Through the unconventional selection of materials, concept development, and organic integration with the surrounding environment, the bureau has created wellness spaces that stand out from the rest.

Our projects, including the Say No Mo beauty salon, 6:19 tattoo studio, and Fizika fitness center, have received international recognition for their design, which blends style, comfort, and functionality.

The Say No Mo project represents a conceptual shift in beauty salon design. Its "heart" is a bar where manicure services are provided while cocktails are prepared. The key task for balbek bureau was to eliminate typical gender segregation and the usual salon atmosphere. The choice of contrasting materials further sets the space apart. Rugged stone blocks and curved golden panels became the focal elements and a hallmark of the beauty salon interior. Their form flows around walls and columns, visually uniting the space.

The Fizika project marked the bureau’s first fitness club design. Our task was to ensure proper functional zoning for all planned activities while seamlessly integrating the space within an entertainment complex. We highlighted the historical and cultural significance of the building while introducing modern fitness center design elements.

The interior of the 6:19 tattoo studio was inspired by the artistic philosophy of the client, Ulyana Neshova. The tattoo studio’s design was created as a reflection of the artist’s style and views.
